Theatre ticketing software
Ticketing software built for theatres, not events in general.
Stage understands the difference between a show and a performance, between a season pass and a flex pass, between a memorial seat and a donation. Free for the venue. 6% booking fee to the customer. That is the whole business model.

Best fit
Best for theatres that want the box office, the season, and the annual fund in one system
- Community and regional producing theatres running full seasons
- Companies replacing three or four stitched-together tools
- Venues that can no longer justify a monthly software line item
Every tool a theatre actually uses, nothing it doesn't.
Stage is built for the performing arts vertical. That means we don’t ship an excuses-only feature list; we ship the specific tools a theatre uses every day:
- Reserved seating with SVG seat maps and real-time holds
- Season subscriptions, flex passes, and mix-and-match packages
- Memorial and named seats with donor recognition
- Donation flows tied to funds, pledges, and donor tiers
- Patron CRM with segments, contacts, and multi-channel messaging
- Multi-venue support for companies running two or three stages
The 80% of shoppers who just want two seats together.
Ticketing UX should not require your patrons to study a chart. Stage ships “find my seats” as the default affordance — tell us your party size and price tier, and we pick the best adjacent run from whatever is still available. Power users still get the full chart with pinch-zoom and keyboard navigation, but the 80% case is one tap.
And when a patron stalls anyway, your box office sees them in checkout and can step in to finish the sale — live assist is built into the same system that took the order.
Revenue that never touches us.
Your ticket revenue goes straight to your own processor account — Stripe (recommended, via Stripe Connect), Square, or another supported gateway. We don’t custody a cent of your money, and we don’t upcharge card processing. The only money we ever see is the 6% booking fee on paid tickets — and we only see it when you’ve already sold the seat.
Frequently asked
- Is Stage really a full ticketing system?
- Yes. Reserved seating, general admission, timed entry, multi-venue, subscriptions, flex passes, memorials, donations, gift cards, promo codes, group sales, on-demand streaming, patron CRM, messaging, reporting, staff auth, audit log — all shipped. If it’s standard equipment on a professional box office, it’s in Stage.
- How do you make money if it’s free?
- A 6% booking fee is added to each paid ticket and charged to the customer at checkout. Venues pay nothing. We only earn when you sell.
- Can I switch from my current platform?
- Yes. We’ll import your venue seat map, show calendar, patron records, and open subscriptions. Most theatres are live within a week; larger organisations take two.
Ready to switch?
No contract, no setup fee, no monthly invoice. The 6% booking fee is the only money we’ll ever see — and only when a patron chooses to book.
